SmartAdhesives G2 Wrapping Adhesive is optimized for bonding fiberglass insulation, paper, felt, and other lightweight materials to metal and many plastics. G2 can be applied by brush, roller, or spray. Once dry, G2 is water resistant and highly flexible. For good initial holding power, let G2 dry until it becomes tacky before attaching surfaces together. Applications include attaching fiberglass insulation, labeling cans and bottles, laminating foil wraps, and binding plastic films (Mylar, cellulose acetate, PVC). G2 dries clear and cleans up with water when still wet. FDA approved for indirect food contact.

This product is not returnable at the 5 gallon size.

Application instructions

DIRECTIONS:
(1) Prepare surfaces: Clean surfaces to remove all dust, dirt, grease, and other surface matter.

(2) Stir: Stir adhesive thoroughly before using.

(3) Apply: Best applied when temperature of adhesive and surfaces to be bonded are 60-90F. Apply a uniform coat of adhesive on one dry surface to be bonded (preferably on the porous surface). Can use brush, roller, or specialized equipment for large surfaces.

(4) Let partially dry: Allow adhesive to dry until surface becomes tacky to touch and before a film develops. If you can leave a fingerprint, it is too dry and you must reapply adhesive.

(5) Join: Join surfaces together and apply pressure to bond. Full cure is 24 hours.

(6) Cleanup: Use damp cloth to wipe up adhesive while still wet. Use warm water for general cleanup. Close container when not in use.
KEEP FROM FREEZING.

NOTE: Always test on samples first to determine suitability.

SUGGESTED FIRST AID:
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water while gently holding eyelids apart. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Skin Contact: Wash with soap and warm water. If irritation develops, seek medical advice. Inhalation: Move to fresh air. No special measures are required. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink two glasses of water. Seek medical advice.
