SmartAdhesives G4 Carpentry Adhesive is an extra-strength wood glue that has 20% more solids than most ordinary wood glues. G4 can be applied by brush, roller, or spray and provides a strong, rigid bond that sets quickly. G4 can be sanded and stained. Wood applications for G4 include board assembly, wood veneering, and edge gluing. G4 is also good for case & carton sealing and forming operations. G4 dries clear, is non-toxic, and cleans up with water. It's not recommended for applications involving significant water exposure. FDA approved for indirect food contact.

This product is not returnable at the 5 gallon size.

Application instructions

DIRECTIONS:
(1) Prepare Surfaces: Clean surfaces to remove all dust, dirt, grease, and other surface matter. Joints or parts should fit snug.

(2) Apply: Best applied when temperature of adhesive and surface to be bonded are 60-90F. Apply a uniform coat on one dry surface to be bonded. Can use brush, roller, or specialized equipment for large surfaces.

(3) Assemble: Join surfaces together while adhesive is still wet and apply pressure to bond. Clamping for at least 30 min @ 70F is recommended for wood applications. Sets in approx. 20-40 min. @ room temperature, depending on amount applied. Full cure is 24 hours. Do not apply any force until fully cured.

(4) Cleanup: Use damp cloth to wipe up adhesive while still wet. Use warm water for general cleanup. Close container when not in use.

(5) Sanding and Staining: Always sand area with adhesive before staining.

(6) Storage: Store at room temperature.
KEEP FROM FREEZING.

NOTE: Always test samples first to determine suitability.

SUGGESTED FIRST AID:
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water while gently holding eyelids apart. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Skin Contact: Wash with soap and warm water. If irritation develops, seek medical advice. Inhalation: Move to fresh air. No special measures are required. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink two glasses of water. Seek medical advice.
