SmartAdhesives' PermaTack adhesives deliver the critical qualities of pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs): permanent tackiness, instant holding power, and your choice of permanent or removable application. These adhesives match a wide range of applications across labels, laminating, and packaging.

Our removable PermaTack adhesive (P1) leaves no residue behind when removed. Our permanent PermaTack adhesive (P2) is stronger, drying with excellent peel strength to insure long-term holding strength.

All our PermaTack adhesives are designed for application to films, paper, foils, and fabrics. Additionally, they dry clear, are water resistant, and resist degradation by UV, oxygen, and ozone. Our pressure-sensitive adhesives maintain flexibility at low temperatures and have good machinability. PermaTack adhesives are non-toxic and clean up with water.

Things to know about PermaTack

About PermaTack (pressure sensitive adhesives)

Pressure sensitive adhesives provide holding power in either permanent or removable applications. PermaTack adhesives are not appropriate for structural needs, but find wide application in labeling, packaging, and several laminating uses.

How They Work

PermaTack pressure sensitive adhesives form a bond when the adhesive and substrate are pushed together. No heat, evaporation, or chemical reaction is required for bond formation. This liquid adhesive is designed with a balance: enough flow to cover the substrate and enough resistance to hold in place.

Tips

Removable pressure sensitive adhesives allow for repeated repositioning. Permanent pressure sensitive adhesives offer limited repositioning before they dry.

Common Application Methods

Brush, roller, or spray, depending on the surface area to be covered.
